Description

Meaningful Gestures is the name of my blog because that is what I strive for in my artwork. In the dictionary, meaningful is listed as "Having a serious, important, or useful quality or purpose." Gestures can be physical motions, but the word also applies to quick, loose sketches that are usually referenced from life. In this way, my art has purpose and meaning, and takes inspiration from life and movement. I have an interest in animation and an understanding of action. These are things that I apply to my art.
